What is MAANGHANG? It's Tagalog/Filipino for 'spicy' (pron. MAH-UNG-HUNG). Chef Rudy Boquila created his signature sweet, garlicky, habit-forming hot sauce. Much loved since his days at Lamesa Filipino Kitchen in downtown Toronto when he created it for his fried chicken. Use it as a dipping sauce, marinade or to enhance dressings, pan sauces and soups.
Maanghang has a similar level of heat as sriracha. We love it on eggs, especially.
You'll want to pour it generously on everything. From breakfast, lunch, merienda to dinner, it's the perfect condiment. :)
